We are living during the age of technology. And yet, with all that is available in this 21st-century, the higher mind remains the most advanced technology there is. It is the operating system of the universe. Some would call this "technology," God. As humanity moves on from their concept of a individualized God into a more expansive awareness of infinite intelligence and love, the opportunity for each person to become self-aware increases. The higher mind, as I am calling it here, is the part of us that is connected to the infinite. We can differentiate this from "ordinary mind," with the following understanding: 1) Ordinary mind is the part of our awareness that exists in waking and sub consciousness. This is the perception of the third dimensional experience of human life. 2) Higher mind is the part of our awareness that is connected to infinite intelligence.
It is important to use both ordinary mind and higher mind as we proceed in life. Many make the mistake of attempting to use their ordinary mind to understand the infinite. The ordinary mind is connected to our human form, and therefore, is temporary. It is not possible to understand the infinite with something finite. Therefore, one must be able to discern between the two components that make up the whole of our human existence. The good news is that all human beings have access to the higher mind. The requirement is, however, that our waking or ordinary mind must understand this. This explains why so many people struggle with being able to connect with a higher source. If you believe that you are not connected or that it is difficult to connect with the infinite intelligence of the universe, then that is what you will experience. Repairing this is simple. All that is required, is that you begin to affirm, through a simple daily acknowledgment: "I am connected to the infinite intelligence of the universe through my higher mind, and now receive wisdom, inspiration, and guidance."
